A Welcome From Our Leadership

Welcome to Park Place. We’re happy you stopped by, and we hope you’ll stay for a while and get to know us better.

Park Place offers a continuum of excellent services on one campus: Independent Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing Care. We also offer short term rehabilitation therapy, as well as assistance in your apartment if needed, making it the kind of place you can feel secure about moving to.

We’re sure you’ll learn quite a bit about Park Place by browsing this web site. But to get to know us best, we hope you’ll come for a visit so we can show you our unique community. You’ll find a warm and friendly feeling here from those you meet, whether they are resident, family, or staff. It won’t take you long to find that our community culture is special because each resident and staff member is treated as part of our Park Place family.

And you will also see the aspect of our campus that sets us apart most—our Small House style of Skilled Nursing Care and Rehabilitation Therapy, where everything looks and feels like home. The Small House model of care is a beautiful opportunity to care for people in a home-like setting. Residents, staff, families, and volunteers become family in this model of care, and that’s extremely special.

If we were to sum up Park Place in just one word, it would be “home.” When you visit, we hope you feel like home when and experience the Park Place difference for yourself, and just know that if you have any questions, we’d be happy to assist you.

Dave Tiemersma

Dave Tiemersma has over 30 years of experience serving people in his community, and served in various administrative positions at other Providence Life Services communities. He loves the feeling of community and family he finds here, and says, “’Enhancing the lives of those we serve in the name of Jesus Christ’ is how I was raised – family, school, and church.  This way of approaching service has always driven what I do and how I do it, whether or not it pertains to Providence. It’s great to work somewhere that espouses the same perspective.” Dave and his wife Amy have 3 sons who all live out of state, giving them plenty of excuses to travel.
