Workplace Giving and Matching Gifts
What is workplace giving, and how can that help your gift to Providence Life Services benefit our seniors’ lives even more? Workplace giving can help your donations reach even farther, and truly exemplify the mission of Providence to answer the call to enhance the lives of those we serve in the name of Jesus Christ.
Through our matching gifts program, you could double, triple, or maybe even quadruple your donation. Did you know that many companies across the country often offer their employees the matching-gifts incentive to encourage charitable giving—sometimes, they even extend their matching program to include donations made by an employee’s spouse or by retired employees? Companies like State Farm, Charles Schwab, Citgo, BMO Harris, Boeing, and many more are active in workplace giving.
This year, Facebook and PayPal teamed up to match donations made through Facebook to non-profits on Giving Tuesday. We will post soon about it’s effect on our gifts that day, but as you’ll see, matching gifts make a difference!

Contact your employer’s Human Resources Department and ask whether your company matches employee donations. Check with your employer’s policy to see whether Providence is eligible. Then fill out your company’s matching gift form or submit via your workplace intranet. Send the form to us and we’ll take it from there: Providence Life Services Matching Gift Program, Attn: Ministry Advancement Department, 18601 North Creek Drive, Tinley Park, IL 60477.
We’ll handle the rest and your company will send its matching donation to Providence Life Services. If your company doesn’t match, it doesn’t hurt to ask them to.
Providence Life Services is a 501c3 Not for Profit organization. More questions? Ask your human resources department, or call the Ministry Advancement Department at (708) 342-8108.
Thank you for giving to seniors, and helping us enhance the lives of our residents.
